That's right, you read that correctly. Reuters is reporting that New York State Senator Carl Kruger is planing on introducing legislation which would ban the use of Music players (iPods, Zunes, etc.) , mobile communications devices (BlackBerries, Treos, etc), and Portable Video Game consoles (PSP, DS, GameBoy) while one is using a crosswalk. Kruger cites three fatal accidents in Brooklyn, involving pedestrians using one of the aforementioned devices while crossing the street.
